Celebrating Earth Day with a 250,000 tree donation
To celebrate the launch of Evergrow on Earth Day 2021, we’re announcing the immediate funding of an additional 250,000 trees with our planting partner Eden Reforestation Projects. We’ve been privileged to work with Eden for over a year and together we have already planted over 6 million trees. Eden is a leader in global forest restoration. Since 2005, the organization has planted hundreds of millions of trees in multiple nations across three continents. Eden's care for the planet begins with poverty alleviation, and they provide transformational income to over 26,000 people. Funding a new tree every six seconds
Evergrow will help us continue to fund the planting of a new native tree every six seconds to combat global warming. While the science of climate change is complex, we think this solution is remarkably simple. One of the most effective ways to reduce greenhouse gas is to plant more trees. Trees and mangroves naturally absorb and store dangerous carbon. While one mature tree can remove up to 48 lbs. of carbon every year, mangroves can remove up to 4 times more.
