CarltonOne Celebrates 20 Million Tree Milestone
At CarltonOne, our sustainability roots run deep. We’re proud to announce that our eco-action program has now funded the global planting of 20 million trees. In conjunction with our planting partner Veritree, and previously Eden Reforestation, we have funded projects in Kenya, Haiti, Mozambique, Madagascar, Indonesia, Nepal, Honduras, the United States and Canada.
Planting and protecting these vast forests of trees, mangroves and kelp have provided over 10,000 work days to local planters, boosted access to nutrition by 700% and will help sequester over 232 million kilograms of CO2.
As a global company, creating engagement and ecommerce experiences in over 185 countries, we understand the positive global impacts that our corporate environmental actions can have. Our Evergrow eco-action model converts member activity on our platform directly into climate change funding. We would like to thank all of our clients, partners and global vendor network for joining us in creating a true climate for change.
